The Build Up It was one week away for Raymond. His wife Sarah had what we call a "landmark" birthday, but she "didn't want a fuss". He decided he would have a special meal at the house with a few friends but he wanted it to be a surprise. He organised a caterer and decided to hold the event in their conservatory. But the problem was preparing the conservatory, making it look not only clean and tidy but also glamorous and inviting without her knowing.
Where We Came In Raymond called us and asked if we could help. We met with him and discussed his wife's likes and dislikes. She loves simple flower arrangements so we settled on lilies, she loves gold colours and yellows so we sourced the linen to compliment this. All that needed to be done was organise the timetable. Raymond was taking Sarah to a matinee at the theatre so that was our chance. We swooped in, cleaned and spruced and polished the conservatory and we dressed the table to Raymond's exact specifications, with crisp yellow and white linen table cloth and napkins, a specially made lily arrangement created by our florist and gold chargers and napkin rings. We completed the look with gold etched glass candle holders and left everything sparkling and ready for the caterers to come in and serve the wonderful meal.
Raymond's reaction : " My wife Sarah was over the moon ! She couldn't believe I had it in me to organise all this without her help. I would never have been have been able to do it without Finessed & Flower Fresh; their enthusiasm, expertise and all-round flair made them a credit to this great new company"
